Pricing Manager
Location: Hybrid – at least 3 days at VHQ, Crawley
Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: Competitive

In a nutshell
At Virgin Atlantic, we believe pricing is more than numbers – it’s about creating value and delivering experiences that make us stand out. As a Pricing Manager, you’ll be at the heart of that mission, shaping and implementing pricing strategies that keep us competitive and aligned with our revenue goals. You’ll lead a passionate team, ensuring our fares hit the sweet spot for strategically important markets and segments, all while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness.
You’ll also be the driving force behind innovation in pricing, challenging assumptions and introducing smarter ways of working. From coaching the wider Revenue Management team to spearheading process improvements, your expertise will help us stay ahead of the curve. This is a role for someone who loves turning insight into action and thrives on making a real impact in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Day to day
- Manage, motivate, and develop the pricing team, setting clear expectations and fostering growth.
- Oversee competitive pricing through daily monitoring, responding to market activity and promotional initiatives.
- Keep a close eye on trends and industry developments to refine strategies and challenge existing assumptions.
- Lead projects and process improvements to optimise fare filing, enhance quality, and simplify operations.
- Communicate pricing competitiveness and strategic insights across stakeholder groups and JV partners.
- Share your expertise in pricing theory and methodology with the wider Revenue Management team.
About you
Are you a natural leader with a sharp commercial mind and a passion for turning data into strategic action? We’re looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, love solving complex problems, and know how to bring people along on the journey.
In addition to the above, we’d love for you to demonstrate the following:
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
- Demonstrable experience in pricing theory and its practical application.
- Strong commercial acumen and exceptional analytical skills.
- Proven ability to interpret, analyse, and present data to inform decisions.
- Accuracy under pressure and adaptability to change.
It would be great if you also have experience in change management.
