Our UK locations
A hybrid way of working at Virgin Atlantic
We’re saying goodbye to the 9 to 5. Empowering our people to do their job wherever they are, whenever it matters and however works best for them.
Our approach recognises work as an activity, not a place. Using six key principles and built on a foundation of trust, we celebrate the diversity of our people, embracing that we all have different work-life considerations and varying times when our energy is highest. Of course, being a 24-hour, 365 days operation, one size doesn’t fit all, and flexibility will look different for everyone in each role.
Unlocking careers up in the sky, on the ground and across the globe
Each one of our locations has its very own dash of Virgin flair. So whether you’re after office views at 37,000 feet, the rush of the airport or hanging out at our head office, there’s something for everyone.
One thing’s for certain, no matter what location you step into, you’re bound to find our people creating thoughtful experiences that feel brilliantly different.

It’s all going on at The VHQ. Our mother ship in Crawley is a buzzing, open plan environment where you can meet up with likeminded folks from around the business connected by a passion for people and a desire to see the world differently.
There’s a space for everyone at our headquarters. So, whether you’re looking for something open, collaborative and social or secluded, pocket-sized and personal, you’ll find plenty to explore.
At our head office, you’ll experience the inner workings as you get under the hood of Virgin Atlantic. From brand and marketing masters, operations wizards and product development hotshots to technology ninjas, Data, HR and every function in between – each and every one needs to work together to make the magic happen.

- At the Hazelwick roundabout, take the 4th exit onto Gatwick road (signposted Manor Royal)
- At the next roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Gatwick Road (signposted Gatwick, Horley)
- At the next roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Fleming Way (signposted Fleming Way)
- Turn left into Crawley Business quarter.
- Take the 1st right into The VHQ
The VHQ is located 2.5 miles from Gatwick Airport station and 3 miles from Three Bridges and Crawley stations. Bus numbers 10 and 100 run regular services to Fleming way where you’ll find our head office.
