We’re on the lookout for a commercially savvy Revenue Forecasting Analyst who’s ready to make an impact. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of shaping our revenue performance, using your analytical skills to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights. From spotting macro trends and competitive shifts to understanding internal initiatives, you’ll help us stay ahead of the curve and ensure our plans are as dynamic as the skies we fly.
You’ll be a key player in forecasting and planning, working closely with stakeholders across the business to set targets and track performance. Your work will influence decisions that drive growth and keep our customers flying with us. If you love digging into data, solving problems, and collaborating in a fast-paced environment, this is your chance to join a team that values curiosity, creativity, and precision – all while helping Virgin Atlantic soar to new heights.
- Support the development of short- and medium-term revenue forecasts, factoring in macro trends, competitive activity, internal initiatives, and trading actions.
- Assist in setting and tracking targets for key metrics, including sales volumes, ticketing profiles, curve projections across routes, cabins, months, channels, and points of sale.
- Contribute to regular updates to plans (including the annual budget and reforecast), ensuring analysis and insights are clearly communicated to senior stakeholders and business partners.
- Produce high-quality analytical outputs and supporting materials that explain the key drivers of expected performance and variances against plan.
Are you a detail-driven thinker with a passion for turning data into actionable insights? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love collaborating to make a real impact?
In addition to the above, we’d love for you to demonstrate the following:
- Proven ability to interpret, analyse, manipulate, and present large volumes of data with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with structured thinking applied to commercial and operational challenges.
- Understanding of airline and tour operator economic concepts and forecasting methodologies, with an eagerness to develop expertise.
- Demonstrable experience with data analysis using Python and SQL.
It would be great if you also have proficiency in Excel and familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI or Tableau).
If this sounds like you, and you would like to unlock your potential with us, we would love to hear from you!
