Specialist – Solutions Delivery – The VHQ
Salary: Competitive
Hours: Full Time
Location: Hybrid remote working with 3 days per week in our VHQ (Crawley, West Sussex)
Contract: Permanent

In this role you’ll use an agile approach to design, develop and release applications and prototypes to deliver specific business outcomes, working on objectives on the Business Enablement backlog.
Some of your key responsibilities as our Solutions Delivery Specialist will be:
- Promotion and daily management of the Power Platform (focusing on Power Apps and Power Automate), governing and implementing strategies to nurture citizen developers across the organisation
- Ensure apps and flows follow DevOps CICD processes and development standard methodologies (logging and error handling patterns), working with the manager to form coding standards.
- Run hackathon sessions and record new training material
- In partnership with the BE Manager, implement upskilling strategies for makers.
- Keep up to date with Azure and Power Platform / Office 365, and MS Technologies by means of research, training courses, conferences, webinars and visits to other businesses.
- Deliver solutions and support the business and projects to deliver solutions using our abilities around the Power Platform, Dynamics and o365 platform
Work alongside support partners when developing solutions, sharing any code repositories
Are you passionate about Power Platform apps? Do you love working with a variety of people?
You might come from a Power Platform Developer, Power Platform Specialist or Microsoft Developer role.
In addition to the above, we’d love for our successful candidate to demonstrate the following:
- Effective system development, testing and support skills
- Strong people and communication skills
- Plus a strong blend of technical skills, including:
- Power Platform – development using Power App and Power Automate
- Azure Cloud and SharePoint Online experience
- REST APIs – reading/writing data
- User Interface Design
- Non-essential but beneficial skills are C#, .Net, Power BI, SQL for Microsoft and Oracle databases
- Working experience of Azure DevOps end to end (epics through to deployment pipelines)
