Sales Dealing Manager
Location: Hybrid - 3 days at VHQ, Crawley
Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: Competitive
Closing Date: 15th February 2026
At Virgin Atlantic Airways, we believe that everyone can take on the world, and it's our vision to become the most loved travel company. As we embark on this next exciting stage of our journey, we’re harnessing our spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation to challenge the status quo.
Our Sales team is how Virgin Atlantic competes and grows and this role leads the engine behind it. As Manager – Sales Dealing, you’ll head up a team of specialists who design our commercial frameworks, build the insight and make sure our agency and corporate deals actually land.
You’ll lead three teams spanning Agency Dealing, Corporate Dealing and Implementation, shaping how we sell through agencies and corporate partners across the globe. With responsibility for a significant cost of sale budget and visibility across Sales Leadership, Commercial, Revenue Management and Joint Venture partners, this is a broad, influential role at the commercial heart of the airline.
It’s a brilliant opportunity for someone ready to step into a senior commercial leadership role, combining strategic thinking with hands-on leadership, and balancing revenue growth, cost of sale and long-term partnerships. You’ll have real scope to shape how we work, bring smart thinking to complex problems and do things a little differently.
No two days look quite the same, but you’ll typically be:
- Leading our global agency dealing strategy, including incentive frameworks, performance management and in-year commercial decisions, with oversight of a c.£30m cost of sale budget
- Setting direction for corporate dealing, supporting Sales teams with modelling, pricing logic and insight for major corporate contracts
- Owning executive-level reporting on agency and corporate performance, helping Sales leaders understand trade-offs and make confident, informed decisions
- Overseeing the Implementation function, ensuring smooth contract execution, fare filing and systems delivery across Salesforce, PRISM, ATPCO and Docusign
- Acting as a senior point of contact on complex commercial issues, working closely with Sales, Revenue Management, Finance, Pricing, Legal and Joint Venture partners
- Developing, coaching and supporting your team, setting clear priorities and continuously improving how the team operates
You’re a commercially minded leader who enjoys working with complexity, connecting insight to action and helping teams do their best work, all while keeping sight of the bigger picture.
- You have experience leading commercial, analytical or sales operations teams in a complex environment
- You bring strong commercial judgement, with the ability to balance revenue growth, cost of sale and operational risk
- You’re confident using data and analytics to inform decisions and guide direction, not just report what’s happened
- You collaborate easily across teams and functions, building trust and influencing senior stakeholders with clarity and credibility
- You communicate clearly and confidently, able to present insight and recommendations at a senior level
Experience in airline, travel or indirect sales environments is a bonus, as is familiarity with systems such as Salesforce, PRISM or ATPCO.
If you’re looking for a role that stretches you, gives you space to grow and puts you close to the commercial heart of Virgin Atlantic, we’d love to hear from you!
