Location: Hybrid remote working, with 3 days a week in our VHQ, Crawley, West Sussex
Contract: 12 month fixed term contract

At Virgin Atlantic Airways, we believe everyone can take on the world. As we continue our journey to become the most loved travel company, we’re embracing our entrepreneurial spirit to challenge the status quo and deliver meaningful change across our organisation.
We’re looking for a traditional, process‑focused Business Analyst who is passionate about understanding real business problems, defining them with precision, and ensuring that requirements are captured thoroughly and accurately before change begins.
As a Business Analyst in our Virgin family, you will provide structured and disciplined business analysis services that:
• Clarify, define, and evaluate fully understood business problems.
• Capture detailed, unambiguous business requirements
• Model and document end‑to‑end business processes using recognised methodologies.
• Build trusted relationships through proactive stakeholder management, confidently guiding discussions, challenging assumptions, and ensuring stakeholders are aligned to delivery project benefits
• Support the selection of solutions that align explicitly to business needs and delivers tangible value.
This role is centred on non‑digital and operational change and requires a strong appreciation of traditional Waterfall delivery, where clear upfront analysis is essential to success.
You are a detail oriented analyst with a strong grasp of core BA fundamentals:
• Expertise in process modelling, requirements elicitation, and requirements definition.
• Confidence in communicating the purpose and value of the Business Analyst role.
• The ability to challenge assumptions, push for clarity, and ensure stakeholders understand why rigorous analysis is essential.
• Excellent influencing, negotiation, and communication skills, enabling you to work with a wide range of business partners to draw out the true business need.
• Experience working with standard tools such as Azure dev ops, PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Visio
If you are a BA who champions structure, clarity, documentation, and disciplined problem definition—and you’re confident holding the line on why these things matter—we’d love to hear from you.
If this sounds like you and you wish to join us on this exciting journey, we would love to hear from you!
