As a Tax Analyst, you’ll play a key role in supporting Virgin Atlantic’s global tax compliance and reporting obligations, ensuring we meet statutory requirements while protecting the organisation from risk and reputational exposure. Working closely with the Employment and Indirect Tax functional Managers and wider Finance teams, you’ll contribute to tax returns, reporting, forecasting and advisory projects, while building strong relationships across the business and with external stakeholders including HMRC.

- Support the preparation of group VAT/GST computations, returns and disclosures, ensuring accurate and timely submissions
- Take ownership of worldwide passenger and ticket tax processes, including return preparation and payment coordination
- Assist with employment tax reporting obligations including PSA, Taxed Award Schemes, STBV returns, International Assignee compliance & related projects
- Provide technical guidance on tax queries, identifying risks and researching solutions for senior review
- Support tax forecasting, monthly provisions and quarterly reporting processes, working closely with Financial Accounting
- Contribute to audit deliverables and statutory tax disclosures, ensuring accurate representation of the Group’s tax position
- Assist with ad-hoc tax advisory projects, researching legislative changes and communicating impacts across the business
- Build strong relationships with Finance, Legal, Treasury and operational teams, as well as HMRC and external advisors
- Recently qualified, or part qualified ACCA/ATT with relevant tax compliance experience.
- Experience working within a large or complex organisation, ideally as part of a tax compliance or finance team
- Good understanding of tax reporting processes; awareness of employment tax and VAT is advantageous
- Confident communicator, able to build relationships across Finance and operational teams as well as external stakeholders
- Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight statutory deadlines
- Curious and proactive mindset, comfortable researching technical issues and supporting advisory work
- A collaborative team player who enjoys developing others and contributing to a positive, high-performing team culture
