We’re thrilled that you’re interested in joining the Virgin Atlantic family. Just a quick heads-up before you apply: you’ll need an unrestricted right to live and work in the UK without sponsorship for these roles. As per the current UK Government (Home Office) guidelines, these positions don’t qualify for skilled worker sponsorship.

While there are some exceptions, do note that there’s a minimum salary requirement to be eligible for a skilled worker visa, which would permit you to work in the UK.

It’s great you’re looking to join the Virgin Atlantic family. Each day we post new and exciting roles on our search and apply page so we’re sure something will pop up.

We’d also recommend setting up a job alert. That way you’ll be the first to know about our newly landed vacancies. Each time we share a new vacancy on our careers site that meets your dream job criteria, we’ll drop you an email to let you know about it.

Our pilot and cabin crew roles are recruited depending on planned resource needs. If you can’t find cabin crew or pilots on the search and apply page at the time you’re looking, we’re likely to have everyone we need in those positions. However, we’d welcome you to keep checking back or subscribe to our job alerts service so you can be the first to know once one of these opportunities goes live.

Occasionally, fake websites and emails are created to look like Virgin Atlantic. Our team is doing all it can to report scammers and get fake websites taken down. Sadly, scammers and impersonators aren’t going to disappear overnight. Reporting suspicious content helps us tackle online scams and make the internet safer.

Our careers site URL is https://careersuk.virgin-atlantic.com/, and the link to any roles begins with https://careersuk.virgin-atlantic.com/search-and-apply/. If you click on a link that doesn’t take you to pages that don’t look or feel like Virgin Atlantic’s career site, it’s likely to be fraudulent, and we’d strongly recommend closing it. If you’re ever in doubt, start at https://careersuk.virgin-atlantic.com/ and go from there.

We’d never offer you a role before meeting you, So if you receive an offer of employment but haven’t been in touch with a member of the Virgin Atlantic resourcing team, there’s something wrong. Virgin Atlantic also never charge people for interviews or to provide letters of employment.

When it comes to emails, they’ll always come from an address ending in “@fly.virgin.com”. If you receive it doesn’t end in this; it’s highly likely to be a scam. Virgin Atlantic’s recruitment team would also never ask you for personal information such as:

  • Your passwords
  • Banking or credit card information

To report an email, you believe to be suspicious

  1. Forward the email to Recruitment@fly.virgin.com
  2. Delete the email from your inbox

Our team will investigate. Once reviewed, we’ll be in touch to let you know if the email is authentic.
